The Friendship That Build Belonging
In 2023, after the pandemic, Laurette Foggini and I co-founded Adventure Gals, a community born from something deeply personal: our friendship.
What grew from there was bigger, bolder and better than we ever imagined.

A few of our events
The Secret Life of Bees, with AG Beekeeper Melissa.
We suited up! For our personal tour of the Alameda hive, learning about the matriarchy of bees, tasted honey’s, then made our own (!) before heading to a park along the shore for a short hike. We landed at a local cafe for coffee and brunch in the garden, all along exploring a few questions about how we want to run our own 'hives’.
AG Annual MOTH Story Event, featuring stories and (mis)adventures of our members.
This one is so popular, we do it every year. A handful of AG’s will be supported to create and tell their MOTH-style story. Think stories of escaping Iran on a motorcycle, traveling in Africa and nearly loosing an eye, a first love and juicy affair gone public, and thriving through AIDS to share learnings from the Poison Pussy.

Louise. (AKA The Official Hugger)
This sassy Londoner can tell an interesting tale about,…well, just about anything. Louise owns and operates the very popular hair salon (now solo studio), Cowboys & Angels. Her clients go to Louise, for the great cut, color and most importantly to spend a few hours laughing and talking in her chair. This adventure gal has an advanced degree in building community.
Zalia. Maven of Fun.
Zal grew up in London, but took off right out of school to explore the world and all the people within. Settled in San Francisco back in the 90s, Zalia spends her professional time running a venture capital firm and her personal time filling her soul at outdoor music festivals or chill-axin’ by the Yuba river. Work hard, play hard and everything in between.
